Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!

What's easier than taking pictures of young children dressed up for Halloween and excited to get even more candy???
Answer: Herding CATS!!

Jackson, Mackenzie and Maddie or should I say 'Iron Man, Bumble Bee and Garden Princess Fairy' were three very lucky little Trick or Treaters today. At school they went Trick or Treating throughout the hospital (where their daycare is located) and received lots and lots of goodies. It's a tradition at Spadina that all the children dress up for Halloween and go to various nursing stations throughout the hospital 'Trick or Treating'. The hardest part of the day is not getting all 53 children dressed in their costumes( infants included)....it's putting their treat bags in their cubbies and telling them they need to wait until they get home to taste test all their goodies---can you say 'major MELTDOWN' !!!!!!!!

Time to 'decorate' the pumpkins.....

We've decided to decorate our pumpkins this year instead of carve them....the outcome is not necessarily the same but I don't think Maddie and Mackenzie mind....plus the clean up is A LOT easier ;0)

Pictures at the Berry Barn

We had our second annual trip to the Saskatoon Berry Barn today with Auntie Shelley, Auntie Jenn and Maddie. We got some great shots of the kids playing, had a very yummy lunch and then home for a nap for Mackenzie and Jackson headed off to Auntie Shelley's to do rake some leaves....lots and lots of leaves!!!!!

Just coloring.................

It has taken some time but Jackson finally enjoys coloring.....especially

if it's a Spiderman coloringbook!!!! As you can see we have a case of

monkey see monkey do!!!! At least we don't have to twist Mackenzie's

arm to get her coloring....we often find her at her little art table coloring in coloring books,

the table, the chairs, walls in the kitchen and sometimes the windows oh and the floor doesn't get left out in the mix either :0)
