The Little Mermaid goes Trucker...

Okay, so hell froze over on Monday...literally(it was dam cold here on Monday too)!! Why?? You may ask. Well....Mackenzie wore a dress and not just any dress, she wore her Little Mermaid costume she got from Auntie Emilia. As most of you know, or will know after reading this, Mackenzie hates to wear dresses--so please...never buy the girl a dress, you are just wasting your money!! Mackenzie will yell and scream "NO" and put up the biggest fight when you just show her a dress or even ask her if she would like to put one on. Then out of the blue on Monday morning she decided to strip down to her diaper and asked where her Mermaid costume was. Both Jayson and I were speechless...and moved fairly quickly to FIND the dress so she could wear it. So, not only did the girl put the dress on ....she wore it for about half an hour!!! Well you could imagine our surprise in regards to the whole scenario that was taking place right before our eyes and I quickly captured this once in a lifetime shot because I really don't think it will ever happen again (we have a hard of enough time just getting the girl to wear something pink). So I ask myself. when we take Jackson to skating practice....Do I put this girl in hockey skates or figure skate cuz she's never going to wear a figure skating dress!!!

May Long...It's Sleep Over Time...

Maddie has come for a sleep over while Jenn is hanging with her longtime girlfriends and Jason is flying. As you can see the party is just getting started with the girls running around everywhere with Bike Helmets on....at least I know they won't hurt their heads!!!! Oh, Bosco is here too.......and he's lovin' running around the backyard.....Don't tell Sammi cuz she'll be jealous!!!

Blast Ball.........

Jackson started Blast Ball a couple of weeks ago and Daddy is his coach!!! So far so good!! Jackson is loving every minute of play ball....especially jumping on first base (because it honks when the kids jump on it) and Jayson is learning.....patience.

Mackenzie's 'New' Hat...

Mackenzie was quite upset when Daddy came home with a new hat for Jackson from Grand Forks and not one for her. So, Jackson being the softy that he is gave Mackenzie his "Hockey Hat"......and she has not taken it off!! She looks like a little truck driver to me.

Supper at Jason and Jenn's

Saturday we headed out to Uncle Jason and Auntie Jenn's for supper. The kids have been talking about playing together since Wednesday when I told them we would be going there on Saturday to play and have supper. When we arrived Maddie was covered in mud playing in Jenn's front flower bed .....she needed to be stripped to her diaper before going in the house!!! More pictures to come....
