It's SLEEPOVER time..............

Last night Maddie came for a sleepover. It was an interesting evening to say the least figuring out who will sleep where. First Jackson and Mackenzie fought over where Maddie would sleep. When Maddie said she wanted to sleep with Jackson...well that made Mackenzie upset and so on. So our first try was Maddie and Mackenzie together. For the first 20 minutes this was a great idea until we heard the pitter patter of little feet and I found the girls peeking their heads out from behind Mackenzie's door. So then we tried Jackson's bed until....."Mom, Madeleine Jane keeps kicking me"! Okay so that's not going to work either. Finally, I put Maddie on the floor in the exact same spot she would be sleeping if she was able to fit into a play pen and voila!! It worked....or so we thought. And during this whole time Mackenzie was mad as hell that Maddie was not sleeping with her and we had to bring her back downstairs until she calmed down enough to go back to bed. Once Jayson got her back in her room all was well?????? Until 11:59pm when we hear "Mom, Mom"! I thought, Oh great Jackson has peed in his bed...nope.....Maddie pooped her pants. And that 's the beginning of many many more sleepovers. Unfortunately I have no photo's of the little ones in bed....just the next morning enjoying a movie.

At the Vet with Jake and Mackenzie...

Jake had his annual check up last week--he's all good, very healthy for an old man. As you can see he's not too, too happy...he's very nervous when he sees Dr. Jones. Mackenzie tagged along while Jackson had skating lessons. She was so good since our visit took over an hour...there were a few doggie emergencies and we had to wait for awhile.

The Fun Factory

Last weekend we had a play date with Maddie, Uncle Jason and Auntie Jenn. We headed off early to the
Fun Factor--which is always a busy place on the weekends. Unfortunately I forgot my camer and had to take these pics with my phone...they turned out no too bad....if only my subjects would have stayed in one spot for more than 2 seconds I might have got some great pictures....

The kiddies must be growing because every night they must have cereal before bed......now only if they ate this well at supper time.....hmmmmm, maybe that's why they need a snack...nighty night.

Aunt DJ and Uncle Vince were here!!!!!

Last week our house was a full one with my mom's side of the family coming up for a visit. My Aunt DJ and Uncle Vince live in Springfield, IL which makes quick visits over a weekend very very difficult. Thanks to blogger...my Aunt can keep track of her little great nieces and nephew and watch them grow up without missing a beat. And Uncle Vince let us know that more often than not D.J. is on the computer right before bed checking out my blog and Jenn's blog to see if we've posted any new pictures.

We had a great great visit, did a little shopping, and even practiced what Jenn and I like to call "herding cats", meaning we tried our best to take some 'family pictures'. The only thing that would have made their visit more special is if our cousins Chris and Allison could have made it. Chris is in University and Allison is finishing her last year of high school (and probably loved being home by herself this last week) so unfortunately they couldn't make the trip. Maybe next year we'll be able to arrange a family ski trip somewhere....that has snow!!!
