At one point when Jackson, Jayson and I were riding up the chair I asked Jackson, "what's more fun, skiing or hockey"?  Jackson's reply was......"skiing"!!  Jayson said, "Are you sure?  Choose your words carefully"!

FERNIE 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just came home from another wonderful ski holiday at Fernie!!

This year was our best and worst year for snow.  We only saw the sun on Sunday afternoon...the rest of our time was spent skiing while the big white fluffy flakes fell to the ground~over 12 inches of snow!!  We found ourselves skiing in knee deep snow, my brother tree skiing found waist deep snow and for the first time ever Jenn tree skied!!! Yah Jenn!!!

 Then came Thursday and rain...yep RAIN! grrrr 

It rainned so hard on Thursday that Jayson, my brother and I made ONE run and called it quits...yep, for the first time ever my brother and I stopped skiing... That's how bad it was! 

This trip also marked the making of two little ski bunnies.  Mackenzie and Maddie had so much fun.  The entire time they were skiing they had the biggest smiles on their faces.  Even Jackson said he liked skiing more than playing hockey!!  And I am sure that the girls ski instructor was glad he only had them for half the day...as you can see how much of a handful they were in one of the pictures below.
