Jackson with Grandma and Grandpa Kenco after the big game.

Grandma and Grandpa Kenco were up this weekend to watch Jackson play hockey...perfect timing as they got to see Jackson score his very first goal in hockey...and his second. Uncle Jason, Auntie Jenn and Maddie were also there to see Jackson play!!

Way to go Jackson!!!!!

He Shoots He SCORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was a very BIG day for Jackson. Not only did he score his very first goal in hockey, right after he scored a second goal.
Jayson said the look on Jackson's face was priceless he was so excited.
It was also a difficult game for the kids as only 7 teammates showed up....needles to say Jackson was pretty hungry and tired after the big game.
The pictures below are of Jackson scoring his second goal.

Down by the South Saskatchewan River...

Today we ventured out, since Mackenzie is feeling better, to get some fresh air. First we had lunch with Uncle Jason, Auntie Jenn and Maddie then we headed down to the river while The Markosky Family headed to the 'Triangle Store'.....(Canadian Tire). The whore frost, which I discovered is thicker by our house, made everything so pretty. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to 'try' and get some pictures of the kids and of the scenery. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful city. We were walking for quite some time before the call of nature came a calling to both Mackenzie and Jackson...we had to quickly head back to the van and home. Jackson was polite enough to tell me "that was a close one, Mom"!

Happy 40th BirPHday Daddy!!

Well it was a big day in the Hodgson household....Jayson turned 40! Impressed he is not.
I was planning a trip for the two of us but instead he's going with his 79 closest friends from Wilber Ellis to Vegas. I'm sure the Lethbridge boyz will help him ring in his 40's....and What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!!!!

Mackenzie and I went to pick out an Ice Cream cake for Jayson and her choice was 'The Backyardigans". Just what every 40yr old man wants for his birthday cake. Mackenzie was very happy about her choice. I'm sure if Dairy Queen had a Diego cake all would be right with the world.

And as you can see by Mackenzie's face she is sick with a bad head and chest cold. Seems like everytime someone has a birthday she gets sick :0(

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAYSON!!
