Jackson's Third Day of Skiing.

As you will see from the video, Jackson picked up on skiing very quickly. This was only his third day out and he was skiing like a little pro...even taking a jump here and there.

Fernie 2009...

Once again we packed up the whole family and headed west to the best snow around...Fernie. We had a great time skiing, hot tubbing, and drinking "Muddy Water" (my new favorite hot beverage). Jackson learned to ski and now has the ski bug. He was very sad to leave and asked if we could stay longer. Jackson skied every day and by his last day of skiing was learning to take little jumps. He loves to go fast and straight down especially on the Mighty Moose. His instructor Steph had to reel him in and now he turns like a little pro. (I'll get a video up as soon as I can). Mackenzie and Maddie hung out with Grandma and Uncle Bruce while Jayson, Jason, Jenn, Dad and I got the rust out of our legs and spent the day on the slopes getting our ski legs back.

This year the girls where just a little too young to strap on a pair of skies. Next year will be their year. Fernie has a ski and play program for children 3-4yrs of age. With the experience we had with Jackson learning to ski...they girls will be in great hands. We actually feel a little sorry for their future insturctors who won't know what hit them!!

This is the best picture ever!! These were Jackson's goggles and now they are Mackenzies. We got Jackson new ones to wear (which he wants to take to school and show his friends). Mackenzie is now ready for next year when we put her on some boards!!
