Maddie's Birthday Partay!

This morning we headed out to Warman to celebrate Maddie's 3rd Birthday. The snow storm we had last weekend prevented the festivities but did bring us the snow we needed to toboggan! I believe the adults had more fun on the hill than the kids!

Hockey Night at the Blades Game..

On Wednesday night Jackson's Hockey Team, Redwing Dynamite, played before and during the first intermission at the Blades Game. All the kids were so excited. In their dressing room each stall had their name, water bottle, towel, Blades tattoos, gum, programs and other 'cool' stuff for kids. When a goal was scored the crowed cheered as loud as they could for the kids...or at least as loud as 2500 people can cheer. After it was over they all sat together in the stands, very intently watching the game. It was so cute to watch.

Mackenzie's First Skate!!

Today was a first for Mackenzie....her first skate!!! And she's in FIGURE SKATES!!!!!!!!!
Oh, you have no idea how happy this makes me. We thought for sure she would want to wear hockey skates like Jackson...but nope. She saw Mommy's skates and that they were the same as hers and we were off.
Mackenzie did well for her first time out...baby steps of course but she enjoyed herself and that is what counts. Even better her first skate was on our wonderful backyard rink that Daddy worked so hard to make.
