and sometimes she really does play with dolls and not bakugans and bionicles......sigh. unfortunately Mackenzie only plays with dolls when Maddie comes over to play...the bath is one of Maddie's Christmas presents.

Happy 6th Birthday Jackson!!

Jackson turns 6 years old!!!
Every year I say this but it's so true....my babies are growing up way too fast.
It's hard to believe Jackson is 6 already. It' just seems like yesterday he was crawling out of the buckets that were strategically placed to keep him out of the kitchen and living room.

The entire resort is built on an ecological system. the fenced of area is for crocodiles and there was a lake which you could take a boat ride on.

While away we saw three weddings on the beach. This couple just happen to be nearby when I was taking pictues of the surf. Jayson says I'm a rogue photographer....I just thought out of all three couples these two were the most beautiful together--so I started taking pictures of them. I have no idea who they are but the bride was beautiful!!

We're Home from the Mayan Riviera :-(

We'll we made it back home safe and sound. It's a 63 degree difference --when we left Mexico it was +30 and when we got to Saskatoon this evening it was -33 and that's not with the windchill!!! I'm diggin out my Mukluks tonight folks!!

Jayson and I had a wonderful time in Mexico. Everything was excellent...drinks, food, Federal beaches for Jayson ( that means lots of boobies for him to look at). Now back to reality...but I'm so looking forward to seeing the kids!!

I have so many pictues to blog so over the next few days I'll put a couple up. Enjoy!!

A really big fish!!!

Hello from the Mayan Riviera!!

Hello Everyone. We are having a wonderful time enjoying the wa rm weather here in the Mayan and so happy to not be in the -35 that is at home in Saskatoon.
Yesterday Jayson and I toured the Tulum Ruins in the morning and then spent the rest of the day snorkeling at Xel-ha. We took the pictures that you see with an underwater camera. They are not the best but I did get a picture of one really big fish!!
Today we spent most of our time on the beach....and got a little sun. The resort we are staying at is excellent!! The service and food is great. Our resort is actually four resorts in one. There is so much to see and do. A lot of walking which is good since we've been lying around on the beach a lot.

We're in Sunny Mexico

Well we've arrived safe and sound in Sunny Mexico in the Mayan Riviera. I cannot posts any pictures right now, you'll have to wait until we get home. Jayson and I spent the day touring the resort and checking out all the pools and the beaches....Jayson's been checking out all the boobies as well!! Let me tell you they are EVERYWHERE!! We've been playing a game called "Are they Real or are they Fake".....I'm winning so far. Tomorrow we are off to check out the Tulum Ruins and then off to Xel-ha for some sun and snorkeling.

I can tell you it's really hot here and very humid....I'm having a lot of fun trying to control my curly hair!!
