It's hard to believe but true, Mackenzie is already 5 months old. So far in her short life Jackson has tried to feed her chocolate chip cookies, smarties and has asked why she doesn't have a penis like he does, "Mommy, how does Mackenzie pee???"!! (We're not really ready for 'that' talk yet, yikes)!! Mackenzie can roll front to back and turn her head in amazing ways trying to follow the quick blur that goes by which somewhat resembles her older brother, giggles every time Jakes tail wags in her face and has the most beautiful grin when she sees her daddy for the first time each day. Mackenzie has now mastered the 'foot in mouth' trick and on occasion you will find her with both big toes in her mouth. Oh, and when the 'Nursing Gods" say breastfed babies poop doesn't smell.............well they are very WRONG!! Let me tell you, this little 5 month old can let them rip just like her Auntie Jana can ;-) At least the consistency of her poop has changed so that it does not shoot out the top and sides of her diaper increasing our energy bill with all the dirty sleepers we have had to wash. I am waiting for a thank you card from Sask Energy!!! Enjoy the pictures.
